i dont know, i guess if a girl is with another man then it means shes good enough to go out with. and if shes good enough to go out with then why shouldnt she go out with me, know what i mean? :P
it also seems that all the 'pretty' girls are taken nowadays

Because guys are taught to hide their feelings, be tough and not show their emotions. For girls, they can show their emotion freely and happily. Guys now have to deal with you, so they act upon it.
