I am doing a CIM qualification and have been given two conflicting definitions for the term. 'Inter media' according to the text book means specifying what media in general terms ie TV, Radio, magazines etc. Whereas 'intra media' means choosing the exact media publications, TV channels within this. However my tutors view seems to be vice versa. Just curious if and marketing or media professionals could give there opinion.

inter means between, and intra means within.

Therefore intermedia would be between TV/print etc, whilst intra media would be within one of those, say TV, the channels available.
