3 salesmen pooled in to pay rs 300 to the hotel manager for the room. the manager later found it was 250 so he returned rs 50 to the bellboy. the bellboy decided to keep rs 20 with him since th 3 managers would find it difficult to divide rs50 among them. now the salesmen paid rs 270 [300-30] the bellboy boy keeps rs20.

270 + 20=290. wheres the remaining rs 10

The math is wrong/misleading.

"270 + 20=290. wheres the remaining rs 10"

The 20 you are adding here is actually included in the 270 already.

250 for the room + 20 to the bell hop + 30 that they got back = 300

y dont u ask the question clearly..

This is mere trickery of misusing maths.

They paid totally 270.
250 to the manager and 20 to the bell boy. The remaining 30 is with them (they got it back right).
