I have put my lcd tv on the wall. From the front it looks great but I do not like the fact that from the side I can see the bracket and wires. Does any one have any ideas to make a wall mounted tv look neater from the side?

Mount it in a really deep picture frame.

Never seen it done, but it'll look different!

The previous owner of my place actually knocked a hole in the wall and fitted the tv and cables into it. A tiny hole in the wall nearer the floor was opened so that the cables could poke back out and plug into the mains.

He then put a large sideboard below the tv so that you couldn't see any of the cables or the hole in the wall. Very effective (he was a builder by trade tho which always helps)

You can buy cable piping which is cheap.

It's plastic piping with a slit so you can slide it over all the cables so you only see a single pipe.

It's probably the best idea without bashing holes in walls or mounting cabinets around it.

build an MDF box and mount that around the tv
