I do not believe all religions are the same.
Each organized religion honestly has its own god.
God, according to each religion, has his or her own personality and character.
The creator god of Hinudism {Brahma) is not the same god as the god of Judaism {YHWH).
Just as the god of Islam {Allah) is not the same god as the god of Christianity {Father God, Jesus - The Word/bible that became flesh, The Holy Spirit = One god).
And there are some religions which have no creator god, ie: Buddhism.
Most religions have their own path to god, but the path is Not to the same god of other religions. Most religions believe that their path, or their way is "the only way", and unfortunately do not respect the free will of others.
People that believe in a creator god, will never unite - to eventually believe in "the same" god.
It will never happen.
The reason why there are so many diversities of religions and philosophy's in life, is that their are so many people, with so many different wants and needs.
For some Hinduism provides them with purpose in life, and gives them peace of mind and happiness.
For some Judaism provides them with purpose in life, and gives them peace of mind, and happiness.
For some Buddhism provides them with purpose in life, and gives them peace of mind, and happiness.
For some Christianity provides them with purpose in life, and gives them peace of mind, and happiness.
For some Islam provides them with purpose in life, and gives them peace and happiness.
And the list goes on.
One thing that is obvious, which we all do realize is that some religions do make strong attempts to convert others to their relgion, or to their way of life, because their savior or prophet commanded them to, while other religions and philosophy's of Life respect the free will of others.
It is helpful for us all, through whatever methods we use, to develop patience and tolerance so that when others approach us strongly attempting to convert us {whether in person or on Yahoo Answers) we use tolerant wisdom in response not cruelty.

Because many religions make an exclusive claim to the truth. Indoctrination makes this a reality for practitioners, a reality they will often kill and die for. That's why not just one religion. The common bond between all religions is that they are not falsifiable which is why the perpetuate and why they are dangerously outdated.

No, there's no evidence on the face of this earth that Wicca is a Satanic faith because of fact: - Wiccans don't have self assurance in devil - there's no evidence devil exists Christians who have self assurance in devil can fantastically lots think of what they desire approximately him; it would not make it real, and that they actual haven't any info. it extremely is like an grownup asking a newborn for evidence that the Easter Bunny lives on Easter Island.

Most religions, in their pure form, have similar values. The "do unto others as you would have others do unto you", is a tenant in Christianity, as well as Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism (to name a few), as an example.

God is one and therefore all religions aim at one God only.
Everyone does not convert to one religion because of variety of languages, community, culture, etc. . . and God also sends various representatives, sons, prophets, incarnations and scriptures according to differences in time, place and circumstances.
