and if anyone know a company i could go work for, like helping the poor. Im just looking to travel a bit and if i can help along the way it would make my experience much more rewarding for me!

type into google "volunteer abroad", I'm sure you'll find lots of options. Just contact the relevant organsations for costs and conditions.

The ads are more for highly qualified professionals, but they do have a few of volunteer options available.
One of the most interesting volunteer projects I ran across though was helping in an animal clinic in Luxor, Egypt. The details for this are in the Lonely Planet guide book for Egypt. If I get my hands on mine again, I post them here.

Get into the Peace Corps. or Red Cross
Maybe EF Tours have a group you can join

depending on your age contikki tours are great for fun or eco tours. For a do gooder try the red cross, unicef or for a full out experience they are always looking for teachers (papers not required) to teach English in Asia
