It's hard and you both have to really want it and be willing to work at it and trust each other and also have a plan, it won't work forever and time planning the future and how and when you will be together is a big part of making it work, it gives you hope and a mututl goal to work for. If you love each other and are willing to put it first as far as planning and make all the efforts you both can, it can work. Talk about it often and be honest, that is the most important thing. Keep in touch but don't expect to much. If it works out that's great but if it doesn't just realize that these things are very difficult.
