That bracelet is most likely a titanium bracelet by Phiten, or some other manufacturer... Titanium is a lightweight metal that naturally realligns ions, making bloodflow very easy. When you have increased blood flow, you can perform better, as well as recover from exercise that breaks down muscles and tendons. It simultaneously enhances performance and helps fight injuries. Great for an adult runner who doesnt have the springy legs of a highschool or college level athlete.

I personally use them at the competitive highschool level, I would recommend buying them... check out

In some photos, I've seen one wrist that had a watch and on the other was a yellow bracelet made famous by Lance Armstrong as a symbol for fighting cancer. Lance's organization has sold millions of these yellow bracelets to raise money for cancer research. Perhaps Paula had a close friend or family member affected by cancer and she wears the bracelet as a symbol of support.

In some other photos, I've seen her wearing a pink bracelet, which symbolizes breast cancer.

It could be a titanium braclet which Paula Radcliffe wears because it can be used by loads of atheletes. If they used the correct titanium it will help by a healing process..

is it one of those magnetic bracelets?

some people think they are supposed to improve circulation, but theres no scientific evidence for it. its more of a mental thing, if you 'think' it will help you, then it probably will and cant hurt.
