If your husband can find a job to be waiting for him when you get here, then that would be very helpful. As you are married and have children you would all be included in his visa. My fiance' and I are currently going through the Visa process to get myself and my son to America. Its extreemly hard to do on your own and we have decided to hire an Immigration Lawyer. They know all the hidden laws and will not send your paperwork in till everything is covered and there is no chance of stuff being sent back, or, worse yet, your visa being denied.
Your Hubby having work to come to would be a great advantage.
As for schools, while our public and privet schools do cater for students with special needs, we do have many schools that only take kids like your son. I know for a fact that in my area (I live in Queensland) there are many of these Special schools. They are wonderful to the kids. My parents do volounteer work at a riding school that many of the special schools bring their students to each week. They absolutly love it and it is the highlight of their week.
All I can say is goodluck! I know what you are about to go through.
