What can we do to prevent animal abusing happen again? What type of punishments should the abuser get?

I don't like it.
Maybe the one who did it was infatuated with the concept of life and death.
It's better that they experimented on the cat then a person.
Yeah I know it's sick, but if you knew anything about the human mind you would realize that there are people out there like this.
It's nothing to do with hating animals.
It's just a fascination with life and death.

I cant believe people can be so cruel. There is no punishment that would bring justice to this situation. Anyone that can abuse and torture innocent animals needs a wake up call stronger than anything I can suggest. The best thing we can do in prevention is to learn to understand these mean inhuman creatures and to catch their kind before their depravity is extended to those who are not capable of fully defending themselves.

Its so sad for poor animals who can't fend for them.
I should think that there must be a law to help these poor animals.
Those people who torture animals really have real problem themselves. They should seek help themselves.
If you ever go out with any guy or dame that do not like animals, don't get involve with them.. They mostly likely will not love you or your kids as much...
Always ask if which animals they like... and you will know...
Animals lovers make a better person.!!!

That's sad. I think people who do that are sick, and really need some type of counseling. Large fines, jail time, public humiliation and some animal-related community service should be some of the punishments.

That is so sad, these type of people have no sole no animal or human should ever have to suffer such a torturous death. It sends chilling shivers down my spine to think that there are people like that who lurk in this world.. it scares me imagine what its like for animals who have no escape.
Animal owners should be screened to determine ones suitability to own and properly provide for an animal. Consequences need to be implemented for such actions but we need to prevent this occurance from happening in the first place.
The community needs to be made aware of these offenders and there cruliety towards animals and these ppl should be declined pet ownership.
We need to protect our animals because they are unable to defend themselves

That's horrible.
I think we should sorta background check people before selling cats, dogs, horses, and etc. The abuser who go to jail for life. Torturing a small helpless animal is beyond cruel, and the abuser who did it should have people torture him and see how he likes it.

i hate people who torture animals! rhose people are so heartless and cowards and they cant pick someone their own size so they have to harm helpless animals. Personally I would be happy if they were punished with at least 2 years of jail. I think that people don't realize that a person who harms animals is a threat to society because it is most likely that he/she is most likely to harm humans too. I hate animal abusers. If I saw one, I would like to beat them up.

I hate hearing about any animal being abuse, it is so wrong. I think they should go to jail longer than they do and they should pay a very very very big fine

I feel very sad. I think people who abuse animal are very bad and evil people. They should go to jail for life or for a very long period.
