Yes. All are embodiments of God only. The only problem with us is that we do not understand this simple but great Truth. Why we don't understand this truth? We consider all the outer manifestations as real whereas reality is within each of us. Only a self realized soul can guide us to this truth. Only thing is Truth is hidden from our physical vision. We all know that there is butter in the milk. Can we show the butter in the milk? Certain process is required to retrieve butter from the milk. You have to curdle the milk. Once it turned into curd, you have to put it into a mixer and with appropriate attachment you can run the mixer to retrieve the butter. Likewise there is a process to realize our self. A true preceptor can guide you in the process of meditation and when the mind become extinct, you will realize that you are none other than the SELF. nagarajan.

We're more than 7 billion now....
Are we God? Sure we are. You don't see anyone or anything else effecting changes around here, do you?
Actually, there is no god-thing - that's all just a fantastic concept that people like to dream about; but, hopes and dreams are powerful motivators and the idea of "god" has and can yet provide mankind the motivation to propel himself forward over and over again into the future.
I like the idea that "we" are god - it's somewhat the same as saying that we have a built-in collective conscientiousness. The fact, however, isn't true - but perhaps we ought to try and develop it. Our collectivity is only by our agreement and by our subjugation under the laws of government, (and to some degree, it is also by our willingness to act according to our chosen religious beliefs.)
But... are we "god"? It would be nice if we could have all of the fantastic powers that are deemed true of gods - but no - we aren't god and nothing else is either...... the real deal on the god business is that it's all just a dung heap of made-up nonsense - a lot of hot air.

Nice try but we will never understand what God is or be able to put what He is into words.
How big is God? Could He be infinitely large? If God has a body what is beyond His physical form? And if God had a beginning, what was going on before that?
Our experience of the everyday world does not prepare us to grasp the concept of an infinite God. And yet, trying to imagine that God actually has a such a limitation does not make things any easier.
A God that can be described cannot be the Infinite God of creation. If you say you know the truth of God, you do in fact not know God at all. Each of our concepts is an empty attempt to close in what cannot be closed in. It is our way of trying to explain what cannot be explained. It is the mystery that is a mystery.
This applies to the god of the Muslims, the Jews, the Christians, and any other people who worship a Creator.
God created all things in such away that they are not outside of Him. Every thing that God creates or does He creates in himself. Thus all of creation exists inside of God as creation. God is everywhere because God is literally every thing in existence.
I don't know about you, but I am having trouble wrapping my mind around such concepts. When I really want to know what and who God is, I go and spend time in a forest, becoming part of the life about me so that I feel myself to be part of the living breathing universe. The pulse of the earth is the pulse of life, as is the pulse of my blood through my body. The force that is that pulse, to me, that is God, that is pure energy.

The mystery of existence is that God is both *immanent* and *transcendent|*
His immanence means that He indwells all things, and is sustainer of the existence of all that exists and is the prime mover for all processes that act|
He is similar all good things - anything *good,* *true,* or *beautiful* in nature is a reflection of God who is infinite *goodness,* *truth,* and *beauty* (evil being only a disfigurement or a negation of that in creation)|
In Christianity, God also wants to bring us into a loving relationship with Him as our Father and us as His adopted children| The normal way that this adoption occurs is through the sacrament of baptism| So in that we become like God in a profound way|
But God is also transcendent at the same time|
This means that He is totally "other" than creation| No part of creation is divinity| Even with the soul in the state of grace, with God dwelling intimately within it, there is still an ontological distinction between the soul and God, He is not our deepest being as New Age asserts|
This commonality yet distinction at the same time between creation and God is known as the *analogy of being* and is the philosophical foundation of the Catholic Faith of which I am a part (as each religion in existence has a philosophy of existence that underlies it)|
The two errors on each side of the analogy of being are embodied in *Hinduism* and *Islam|*
Hinduism holds to radical immanantism in saying that everything is God (Brahman), denying any transcendence| Islam holds to a radical transcendence in saying that God is so "above" that he is total mystery with nothing naturally in common with creation and that we cannot enter into any relationship with Him, and our intellects cannot understand the fundamental dynamism of existence (as classical Catholic philosophy and theology so well express)| The Koran mainly expresses the will of God, if we obey we get eternal paradise, if we disobey we receive eternal hell-fire - no questions asked.

To best- you must be using a different bible. Jesus was never described as God in the bible, well, maybe unless you are using a corrupted version.
Read John 17 and find out that even Jesus recognized the Father as "the ONE and ONLY TRUE God". If this passage does not appear in your version - i suggest you burn it lest it mislead other people...
May God bless you...

Wakan Tanka - - - The Creator
Here's why and
Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).
2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.
3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.
4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.
5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.
6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.
7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.
8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.
9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.
10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.
11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.
12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.

YEP..i think each human possess a consciousness, and the ability to think, is what makes us humans. its just the way things are..each thought we have, is energy, that energy goes somewhere, and maifest itself, into karma, or whatever you guys call it. ") so maybe we're all god, and some are satans, and we're always trying to put the satans behind bars, that don;t help us, cause while you're behind bars, you're still alive lol.

there is a verse that says All of us are gods, but that we will all die like princes.
but saying that men in a mortal existence are gods can be misleading. Jesus was the son of God and became the God of our salvation even the highpriest and author of our salvation but it does not mean that all mean who are criminals can ever become god. because if they WERE a God in the preexistence of mankind they lost any and every claim to any throne.
