Yes..but not really from religious point of view, Just look at most of the vasthu rules,Most of them are scientifically good for the well being of the person,Like ventilation that brings light and Fresh air into the house and a lot more such things.
Vaastushastra a science which deals with the creation of a harmonious energy field in a structure. In general terms it is a science of structures and to derive the benefits from it and to cherish it.In all it is a science apart from the notion that Vaastu has any thing to do with religion, rituals , astrology, numerology or may be psychosymbiology.....Relating the subject with superstitions in whichever manner, can only hamper the widespread of this wonderful and valuable phenomenon or the science/art. It can also defined as the traditional Indian system of architecture and design Vaastu, in Hindu tradition means the dwelling of humans and Gods. It aims at providing guidelines for proper construction.

Vasstu-it is nothing but superstition. We have to think its subjects logically and mankindly. God's alter is closed to a toilet- how ridiculous! We think of God the almighty, it is good sense.A toilet is dirty thing indeed-we realise visibly.

All depends on the believer himself. If he wants to believe in it he will find reasons why it didn't work.
