Try this...saute chopped onions, garlic & green peppers. Remove and brown the beef. Add vegetables when beef is only slightly pink. Drain. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, Worstershire sauce, sugar. Simmer about 20 minutes.

I make a cheesy carbonara. A mix of raw egg, milk and plenty of parmesan cheese go through the hot spaghetti first, then i top it with a small amount of a nice cheddar cheese sauce, plenty of mushrooms, crispy bacon bits and freshly ground black pepper or fresh green peppercorns if i have them in.

Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce. Simmer a little, then add 2 TBSP to the end sauce as garnish. It gives the sauce a real KICK!
I have a fantastic winner of a recipe where you use 6 of worcestershire sauce to simmer the meat in, but if you already have a great sauce base then just add a couple of TBSP for flavour!

SPAGHETTI ALFREDO

1 lb spaghetti noodles
1 can evaporated milk (Milnot works best)
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp parsley
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 stick of butter
1 tsp salt

Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Drain and set aside. On low heat melt butter. Add milk, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and parsley. Stir, keep a close eye on it because it will burn.
Let it simmer for about 5 minutes and then add Parmesan cheese. It should thicken up, if not add more Parmesan cheese. According to your taste you might need more salt. Take off heat and add your spaghetti, mix well.

Serve hot.

I like plenty of garlic powder and ground oregano besides those things you mention.. AND get a hunk of that smoked Eckrich sausage and slice it up thin and add it at the end of your sauce cooking. Its a delicious add in. oh yea don't forget to throw in a little parmesan cheese.

In with the tomato sauce, I like to add different spices, such as tarragon leaves, hamburger seasoning, basil, and pepper. Salt is optional.

I use Italian sausage, hamburger for meatballs, tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and a little red wine. After I cook the sauce, I add a little mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
