My school is going to have a blood donation drive soon, and i wish to participate. The problem is, i have donated blood previously at about 1month ago. If assuming all the conditions to donate blood will be met with ONLY the exception of the time limit (which for my case, will be 2 months instead of 3), will I be able to donate blood still? I'm really quite eager to donate blood again. Thanks!

You should be fine. American Red Cross guidelines state that you must wait 56 days = 8 weeks = 2 months before donating blood again. They will, however, not allow you to donate even if it is just one day early. This is an FDA regulation that they must follow for your own safety.

you should not.

Your body can only make red blood cells so fast. If you deplete the red blood cells by donating too soon you would be in serious trouble if you were in an accident.

You could donate plasma... that replenishes fast enough to donate 2 times a week.

8-12 weeks. Why don't you sign up and tell them while you're going through the registration process? They'll ask you how long it's been since you've donated, did you live in Germany in 1987, has anyone in your family had Hepatits, ect. You could also ask your doctor while you're in for your next checkup.

The interval should be 12 weeks for most people. If you are not sure, you can always go for the tests.
