Violent dreams are relatively common and may be a reflection of the confusion and conflict that the dreamer experiences in daily life. Dreams with violent themes suggest that the dreamer has unconscious negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, and anger. If you are not dealing with these feeling consciously, your dreams are compensating and bringing into awareness the need for honest reflection and emotional balance in daily life.

Are you watching a lot of scary movies? Im 26, and just saw Wolf Creek a couple nights ago. Haven't been having bad dreams, but it's been disturbing me a bit. Have you had something bad happen to you lately? If you have, this may haunt you for awhile. I don't know you well enough to say you need therapy or not, but I'd seriously reccommend talking to someone you are close to. The fact that you are only 14 and on here asking this leads me to two questions. 1) Are you joking? or 2)Do you not have anyone to talk to?
I recommend that you speak to someone that you are close to about this, because we've all had these kind of dreams. A family member if you can, if not, a friend. Dreams are just dreams, and they don't mystically come true, in opposition to what some might say. It's natural to have these dreams, as terrifying as they might be. : ) Don't worry yourself about them, and thinking about it will only make it worse.
If it's the latter, then

Dreams about death are not necessarily bad omens, but they usually represent anxious or angry feelings.
was the dead person someone you knew? To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain quality that the loved one represents. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances.
To dream of a death frequently signifies news of a birth.
Any dream featuring the neck is a sign of approaching money.
To see an ax in your dream means you should proceed with caution in any business dealings. If you see a person holding an axe in your dream, a rival wants to harm you and drag your name through the mud.
If you dream of someone having a spear, you are feeling threatened in some situation.
To see others wearing a mask in your dream means that you will battle against deceit, falsehood and jealousy.
To see a killer commit murder in your dream, foretells sadness caused by the misdeeds of others.
hey you seemed really stressed out but if it makes you feel better know that your dreams are not visions of what is going to happen so dont be afraid to sleep. try TALKING TO SOMEONE preferably an adult or someone older that can understand and maybe offer advice in some areas that you are having difficulty. the reason why your dreams are so horrifying is that you are frustrated or tormented in real life and dreams are just your minds way of letting out frustrations and working out some things. ease your brain of some stress by trying to approach your problems face to face. hope i helped.

That would be a very freaky thing to have to go though!
Dreams are said to reflect your subconcious thoughts, so are you afraid of anyone close to you dying?
If you can, you could try to take control of the dream, and take off the killer's mask, and see who is killing those people.
Also, you could try thinking of some happy thoughts or listen to calming music as you fall asleep.

well i really feel that you need to quit going to horror shows or watching them on tv, cause i believe some of the things you are seeing in the movies you watch is coming out in your dreams, try to watch something a lot lighter, or something funny and happy before going to bed, and that should help, if not go see a metal Health therapist, and work through it, it could be taken care of proably in no time.

it sounds like you watch alot of freaky or horror movies. i know when i use to smoke weed i would have weird dreams. they weren't always bad though.
so if you are taking anything different or doing anything different since the dreams started? i would start there and then talk to a friend! I hope that helps.

Sometimes dreams mean something and most times its just our brain replaying something we saw or went through. Nightmares are scary but there is no point in trying to beat yourself about it. Its best to be positive and be glad that it was just a dream and not reality.

I feel that you are afraid of the future. I know from a good source that when you are afraid of your dreams you are afraid of yourself. Sit down quietly and just relax. It should come to you why you are having nightmares. Find the sense of "self" that is within you. Read the bible for comfort or find some other spiritual avenue.
