Sign language and approximate gestures only convey as much - also I can't learn Czech (her language) in One day - what the heck should I talk on when we go out

i don't understand how you managed to get a date with her!! surely she does understand a little english or you wouldn't be in this position?
i guess you'll have to make do with sign language, or just snog her all day/night long. or get one of her friends to come along and act as translator.

I think you will have to learn a bit of Czech and then just use gestures for the rest of the date. Or you could bring one of theose little phrase books. How did she know you were asking her out if she can't speak English?

How can you expect to date her when you don't speak each other's languages? How did you two even arrange to go out if you can't communicate?! ! If she's living in Britain, surely she should be able to speak at least a bit of English. Maybe she just finds your accent hard to understand or something, or maybe you speak a bit too quickly for her. If you really can't communicate with each other, then it doesn't look like it's going to work.
