The world is full of misunderstanding and false statements. It is easy for some to know the truth without knowing anything because to them truth equals their opinion. If they ever met me I would be happy to explain where they were wrong or at least where I think they are wrong.
I, like most Buddhists, do not believe that there is only one path to Nirvana (by whatever name the various religions wish to call it). Any religion which promotes understanding can lead to Nirvana. It is just that the way that Buddha taught cut away a lot of the unnecessary trappings such as God and the word of God and only left the logical path. It is remarkable to me that more than 2,500 years ago someone could so logically put together the complete psychology of human existence, see where it was going wrong and devise a strategy for dealing with it. A great mentality in an ordinary human.
I am not sure where Mohammed F gets his ideas from. Buddha dies more than 1,500 years before Mohammed was born and therefore could not have been a Muslim. Also no Buddhist worships Budhha, we only respect his memory as a very wise man.

Islam is the Religion.
Islam can not be compare with any, Ism, Tianity.
Gautam Budh never said I am God and worship me. He never challenge The God Almighty. He spent part of his life to find truth.
For same reason he left his royal life as well.
It is people like us who took Him wrong, some of us consider him God.
Like some of us, consider Prophet Jesus(pbuh), as God.
Jesus(pbuh)never claim divinity. It us who took him wrong.
That’s why when Last and final Prophet of God, Successor of Prophet Jesus, announced His Prophet hood , He vocally, and very clearly announced, I am “Bashar”, means Human, and I am slave of Almighty God.
He announced clearly because He was aware that it was former practice that people starts deviated and start calling humans as God Almighty or equals some of holy Figers to Almighty God.

Ah ...... Islamic Scholars like most scholars of other religions goes around distorting others to meet their goal.
In fact, like what Buddha has said, use wisdom to decipher between truth and false.

Fear of the unknown, and more so since faith is something that is unseen. In many, that intensifies the fear factor.
