We are not alone!?

How can some of us be so selfish to think that out of all the galaxies out there, we are the only ones here in this universe?

Nobody knows how big our universe is,hence the arguement we are not alone.We are living in a bottomless pit called universe,which appears to be a Riddle.Will we ever come to know the frontiers of our universe no matter how much money is pumped into the space program?My answer is no.I also state that we are all alone in the near universe otherwise we could have discovered them through our advanced space technology or they could have discovered us.Yes we are all alone otherwise the nine planets are our only neighbours,this includes Pluto which was recently demoted.

I agree with you. It is a very arrogant belief. I have a friend how knows someone who says that there are is no alien life because it does not mention it in the bible. That obviously does not prove that extra terrestrial life does not exist.
I believe that there are many other inhabited worlds.
Why have they not contacted us? Because this is not a sci-fi film. When people think of aliens, thy think 'close encounter of the 3rd kind' and other such films were they are extremely advanced.
Assuming other aliens exist, chances are they are just as advanced as us, or even a lot less advanced than us. They may not even be any more evolved that any common animal.
