I know that feet are considered unclean, I just don't want to get something permanent on my body that might not be acceptable.

No.

Arabic as a language existed long before Islam began.

Many people in the Middle East speak Arabic and are not Islamic, including Orthodox Christians.

Now, if the word you have tattooed is a sacred word of Islam, or if a slogan were considered blashphemous, then yes, it would be an insult, disrespectful, and if you walked around barefoot or in sandals long enough, some zealot would likely attack you and cut off your foot...

Seriously.

Your answer lies hidden in your question. If you feel insulting or disrespectful toward Muslims for tattooed why then doing the same. Try some other things, do tattooing in any other nice part of your body.

No...make sure your feet are clean before getting the tatoo so you won't get any infections. Why wouldn't you want to get Arabic tattooed on any part of your body? It would be the same as any other language. What makes them so special for consideration? They have no or little tolerance for other beliefs to start with.

well permanent tatooing is impermissible in Islam,
