This is an awfully awkward way of figuring out the total volume of water on Earth in cubic kilometers. Man, what a hassle. .

326,000,000 cubic miles of water on Earth
5280 feet per mile
12 inches per feet
2.54 centimeters per inch
10^6 cubic centimeters per cubic meter
10^9 cubic meter per cubic kilometer

Moral of the story? I don't have a clue.
