Why do muslims agree that the prophet Moses was instructed by God, who brought the Jews into Canaan/Israel, but almost all refuse to acknowledge Israel as a nation today?

It all goes back to the Quran, which tells the Muslims what to do.
Have you heard "People who define themselves primarily by what they hate, rather than who they love, are doomed to failure and misery"? Can you see the parallels to the Arabs, who are blessed with land and oil, but still gladly train their children to kill themselves in order to kill Jews? Have you heard Golda Meir's words to the effect of "There will be peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate ours"? Why do the Arabs hate so much?
Consider the Quran, Sura 2:191: "And kill them [the Christian and Jewish 'infidels'] wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers. "
How sweet, you must kill them, but don't dirty the mosque with their impure blood.

2 aspects to look at here, from the Islamic perspective:
1. "Dar al Islam" vs. "Dar al Harb"
In Islam, the world is seen as divided into 2 parts:
those that have been brought under Islamic rule (Dar al Islam or the House of Islam); and those that have not YET been brought under Islam (Dar al Harb or the House of the Sword).
History is seen as a process of bringing the entire world from Dar al Harb into Dar al Islam. And once a place has been brought under Islamic rule, it is not supposed to revert to rule by non-Moslems. Examples where this is the case: Israel, Spain.
2. Dhimmitude
In Islamic law, non-Moslem monotheists are called Dhimmi. The Dhimmi social system mandates that Jews (and Christians, etc.) be oppressed under an apartheid-like social system based on Islamic law. Jews were subject to oppression under Dhimmi laws for centuries in Arab countries...not to mention the constant expulsions, mass rape and murder.
From the Islamic viewpoint, Jews living independently and even ruling over Muslims, is like an inversion of the universe.
You're right that the Qur'an contains the exodus of the Jews and God giving them the land of Israel. But, most Islamic clergy believe that this is superseded by later revelations that say Jews are supposed to be oppressed or killed.

Because after the Jews were driven out Arabs lived in Palestine. They became the Palestinians. Palestine's been their home for almost 2000 years.
Both the Jews and Palestinians claim Israel as their country, there will be conflict for years to come until both sides have had enough of war and negotiate a settlement.

The worst enemity is found among closely related people because they fight over same things.If they dont agree on how to share properties there will always be confrontation.Israel and Arabs, according to bible are children of Abraham but from different mothers.Abraham may be ,left no will to show who would occupy where ,hence the confrontation between them.

Not only the Muslims, even the Germans also reject them. It is not the Muslim culture to hate anybody, But, they make the Muslims and the entire world hate them with their ill hearted self.

when Jewish left Isreal thousands of years ago, got mixed with European and Russians, don't u think those who remained on the land have more rights than those who left it first place. and what makes u think that Palastians weren't jewish, who converted to christianity who converted to Islam? don't these people have the right on the land than those who left it thousands years ago?
