Don't think so, in any modern language, all I can tell you is that it's the Spanish version of the visigothic name GUNDISALV, from gund = war and alv (or alf) = elf, thus war elf, or battle genie. In latin is GUNDISALVUS.

And by the way the very common surname Gonzalez or Gonzales means SON of Gonzalo.

No. For example Juan has translation to almost every language but Gonzalo no, it is like Sancho no translation. Like in English the name Kurt, Kirk, no translation to Spanish.
