The simplest way would be to buy some decent books, magazines, read on-line forums and websites. Now you could also take some classes at a local college if you want instruction. Your best bet would be to get some decent books and a good camera, if you are serious, and teach yourself. Learning photography is simple especially if you are going down the digital road.

In the library you will find numerous books on the "How To's" of photography. Check them out. Then go out with your camera and apply some of the things that you learned. Take a small piece of cardboard and cut out a rectangle. When you see something that you would like to photograph, hold up the cardboard, look through it, and view the shot.
