some researchers who study attraction believe we are turned on by people who look like the boys or girls we loved in kindergarten or junior high, even if we don't remember what their adorable mugs looked like. It is also possible that we are attracted to a look that is associated with high status. For instance, how many women started being drawn to shaved heads once star athletes such as Michael Jordan went bald and beautiful?
So even though there are certain cultural standards of beauty that everyone agrees on (such as George Clooney, Michelle Pfeiffer, Brad Pitt and their movie-star ilk), there are huge differences in terms of what each of us finds sexy. That's a good thing! Think about what hell life would be if all humans found only one specific look exciting. Talk about competition! How many of us would feel lonely and unwanted, while a scared and overwhelmed few would be pursued en masse?
The bottom line is that we may not know why our love radars are all tuned to a different frequency, but we do know that when someone who fits our type registers on our screen, our heart races, our senses fire up, and we go into flirt mode, hoping that person wants us as much as we want him or her. However, we also know that a strong, sexual pull is not always the basis for everlasting love. Our perfect mate may not come in the package we have always dreamed about. Luckily, human beings are always in the process of change. While we may be "wired" for desire, our life experiences affect us. As we age and forge new relationships, we refine our tastes. Even something as basic as whom we consider attractive may change — and that makes finding love a whole lot easier.
hope this helps!

dear it is for manyyy reasons...pretty much at that age...it is hormones....it starts when they reach puberty..it is pretty normal for guys to feel that way...not to mention it is something psychological called nature vs. nurture. Nature meaning as i said their hormones..and i dare say society...and nurture meaning the way their family influences them and raises them..i also like to throw society in there to piss psychs off...i throw it in both categories just cause i can.........society rears it's ugly head on both sides of the fence...anyways not to get over your head....
um and then dear in saying that..there are some GREAT guys out there who are not perverted little sicko's like your boyfriend okay? At his age, he should be interested in more than your BODY FIRST and it is truly sad that this is the case already. Tell him this...tell him that you are worth more than a body first and always will be! All women are. You see the sad part is that a MAN is like this dear...when you are older the majority of men well they see BODY first and LADY second. This is why women focus so much on their bodies before their minds. This is why women have such f'ed up love lifes too.
This simply means he is inexperienced with the female body and is childish.
At the same time...it is flattering....tee hee hee. Nothing wrong with having your partner being flattered by your body..just shouldn't be the MAIN thing that attracts him to ya!

Because we are men! You have to be kidding me here! The day you get men to actually only see you for your intellect, the whole human race would be heading down hill. Allright, first figure out why you are so upset at this "realization" You apparantly have a good body, at least one that your man is excited about. But yet you are ashamed of it? Why are ashamed of being a woman?! and an attractive woman! Revel in the fact that your man finds you so attractive, it is one of the many things that please him. But instead you question it, and you are almost... no you are.. .insulted by it. Bizarre.

Well, I think we're all equally somewhat into physical attraction. That might sound vain and immature, but do you REALLY think Justin Timberlake would've dated Britney Spears is she wasn't beautiful? Why do you think Leonardo DiCaprio dates models? Likewise, I don't think Nick Lachey would've dated Jessica Simpson if she didn't have some kind of physical beauty, or Jennifer Aniston dating Brad Pitt totally for his personality. True, inner beauty shouldn't count, but sometimes, with come people, it does.

Well because the way a girl keeps her body tone, means a lot of the type of person she is. if her body is in shape it means she cares about her self and she might also care about that other person she will be with.

We are visual, and fantasy based creatures.
And you women know it.
When he grows a bit he will realize that the physical body has little to do with beauty, its the heart and soul within. You need to advance your spiritual mind and also seek advanced education to keep him interested when you guys get older.

See, girls are God's special creation. To me Girls are the best creation of God. God offered them so many things by which they can bring war and also peace in this world. God made them attractive..so men attract to them. It is the rule...law of the nature.
