You realise that it will be a one sided commitment don't you? They other person will still date other people becase they don't know you're committed to them and you could be hurt.
Personally i view a committment as an agreement between two people to be there for one another and to only be with one another without thinking of anyone esle.
I think a one sided committment isn't a good personal choice for anyone to make. Don't people want to be committed to someone who is committed to them as well?
Why don't people just tell each other how they feel? It's a lot easier and a lot less stress.
