The best way to fix your credit is not to use it. Hard I know. I was in the same boat as you 4 years ago. I cut down my living to the core things cut up my credit cards and paid them off. Send as much money as you can to the highest credit card percentage and keep following suit until they are all paid. Everytime you pay one off your credit score will go up. Now my husband and I have no credit card debt, no car debt and we have about 6 months of paychecks sitting in the bank for an emergency. We are now saving to be able to put a large down payment on a home it will probably be another 2 years of eating speghetti and salads but it is well worth it knowing that we aren't living paycheck to paycheck an heaven forbid if something happens we will be taken care of. Results don't happen overnight but step by step you will get there. Check out Dave Ramsey. We have been following his advice all this time.

Credit is never beyond repair but it will take some time. Start by repaying one of your CC on time each month then try to add the others. If you don't have credit anymore, you can apply for a high interest card and make payments to rebuild your credit. Remeber Start small, little changes make a big difference. Good Luck :)

On personal credit reports the maximum adverse credit rating can stay on your reports is 10 years for a chapter bankruptcy, in all other cases 7 years you need to get a combined credit report from the three major credit agencies to find out what negative credit records you have then write the credit bureaus to dispute the negative credit history

start by monitoring ur credit. try freecreditreport.com. then u will know what exactly is on ur credit reports. then contact them to make payment arrangements. if it is real bad, file for bk. its not that bad to file for bk if u are in a lot of debt. most people recover from it shortly after it discharges. we were able to buy a car weeks after ours discharged. that was 4 years ago now and we have excellent credit now. it takes time. you might want to contact a credit counsilor. he or she will be able to help u a lot, and direct u if repayment or bk is the better option for u. ive been there and know how u feel. at least u recognize there is a problem and want to fix it!! good luck!!!

You need to check out this video on how to increase your credit score by using a 100% legal loophole. Here is the video URL: http://www.creditscoresecret.org
I was able to get to 595 from 489 in just one day and from 489 to 748 in just a few week; that's pretty fast in my book. Good luck!
