I'd go with Koopa definately!
I've never heard of a dog called Koopa so it's pretty original, it's from mario (love that lol), and it doesn't sound like one of those original names that sounds stupid.
It's an uncommon name that's actually cool, so sweet!
Oreo is a little too common for my taste and Woomba just doesn't roll off the tongue like Koopa.

I'd go for Koopa does sound the easiest---- male dogs can be a lot more assertive than females you have to be prepared to be the boss top dog and not weaken a hard position to maintain as it is always questioned. It needs to be clearly established straight away even with a cute pup or he will have you as the slave and not the master so have fun but stay strict as masters have no weaknesses!!!!

There are several considerations to take in mind when naming your dog, such as the breed of dog, it's personality, and other things. For example I wouldn't name a German Shepherd or Rottweiler Fifi, or Woomba, etc. those sound like small dog names, such as for a poodle. a name can reflect the country of orgin or something, I have had two dogs in my life named Rommel, one a German Shepherd that I had about 30 years ago, and the current dog I have, which is a Rottweiler. Rommel is a German name, both dog breeds are German, Rommel is also a very famous military person of history. another example would be Ying-Su an asian name (forget which country) for a Bichon Frize (not sure if I spelled it right) dog that I had. I have also named dogs based on how I got them etc.. for example my female rot, that I have, was about to be put to sleep, when I rescued her from the pound. I named her Karma, if you are not sure what "karma" means, it basically means what comes around goes around... do good to others, and good comes back to you.. do bad and bad comes back to you.... So far, she has been a great dog. So, me doing good by saving her life, brought back to me, a loving and watchful dog. I hope you don't just throw a name at your dog, the name should have some history to it, some meaning to it. by the way, all of my large dogs mostly rotts, besides the one German shepherd, in the past 20 years, have all had names starting with the letter K. well all except my current male rott, who is Rommel. but the K. theme started with my very first Rott, her name was Keisha, other names have been Keno, kaiser (the german shepherd, and "kaiser's" were once the rulers of Germany", Kala (my other current rott, who I explained the name) anyways sorry for draging this on and on LOL. good luck on naming your dog. Go to the library and get a language translation book, for the country that your dog originated from, or if it's a mix, then go by personality or something

Koopa's cool. I'd go with it. We had a Chow/Pit mix for a while named Hugh Hefner cause he was the only man in the house (me, my mom and my sister, three female cats, and a female dog)! We called him "Heff" for short.
