i have somewhat wavy and straight hair that if i just let air dry gets kinda frizzy and puffy. right now i add mousse and gel to it to make it manageable but my hair started falling out so i decided to just straighten it and not use so many products. but what's healthier?

i've found that mousse isn't as harsh on my hair as flat irons.

obviously anything's better than working with heat... I have same type of hair and I always find using the straigtener (have a REAL expensive one with solid ceramic) makes my hair drier and not really healthy looking compared to those with fine straight hair...

I usually use mousse or some shaping lotion made for curlier hair, then I usually add some serum to make it more healthy looking.... have never heard anyone's hair fall out due to mousse ... yea I would definately get some sort of hair consultation and listen to the pro's advice.

i think mousse and gel are not the answer to your problematic hair. I suggest that you must go to the professional hair stylist to give you the right advise what to do and which products you will use for your hair. It's not wise to use anything to your hair because it can add more damage. you can do the hair treatment/oil treatment so your hair will become healthier, softer and more manageable.Perhaps 2x a month. But, the best solution is, ask professional hair stylist. They knows best. i hope this will help you.
