did you try to educate yourself to see if what they taught you was right? Because it seems most of you will slander againts the faith but don't actually know the doctrine entirely (mostly complety opposite of what the actual doctrine is)

I may not be a non-catholic christian, but when I was younger I had to attend "non-denominational" protestant services with one of my parents, who didn't like the fact that I had become catholic.

The pastor at this "non-denominational" protestant church seemed to have nothing but hate for Catholics (and pretty much any other denomination of Christianity) and taught nothing but slander against other churches. He CLAIMED to have been a former catholic who had been "saved," and yet listening to one service was enough to know that he had, if he ever really was a catholic, never gained any understanding of the church at all. And the saddest part was how hateful his followers were towards the catholic faith, justifying their unGodly hate with the words "pastor richard says ______ and he used to be catholic."

There are many protestant denominations I respect and appreciate, but I can never gain even a modicum of respect for those who base their theologies on the hatred of others.

I was Catholic for 16 years and went to Catholic school my whole life. Don't tell me I don't know about it and its pollution and lies. What's funny to me is that most Catholics don't even know what their doctrine is. So let me ask you your question right back. Did you try to educate yourself to see if what the Catholic church was teaching you was right? I did, and its not right.

I am a non-catholic Christian and I tend to agree with you. I believe the same is done to Mormons.
