Esther: Too be fair 'Lucifer' is just an example of Christians demonising Pagan Gods. If you want a true 'ancient' rebel you will have to dig a bit deeper. 'Set' was pretty cool, but Typhon, now there's a hero. This 'God' scared away all other gods, a true rebel that don't take **** from any holier than thou authority.

jacobjmr: Lets all hold hands and sing kumbah ya....
We have to protect ourselfs from the same folks who teaches us to turn the cheek, ironic isn't it?
Turn the other cheek but what about throwing the first stone?
Someone has to 'fight' for the freedom of the human race.

Fighting for the equality of all Gods is like fighting for the equality of all of the sand people on planet Bluto.

There is nothing wrong with fighting for equality of all Gods...after all "All Gods are one God and all Goddesses are one Goddess". However, I would not say that humans are equal to the gods....we are not lowly creatures that bow in submission either. It is simply a different way of being. The humans that believe that we must lower our sense of self and worth to have a relationship with God are those that were raised in the religions that follow the bible...as it states that "all are as filthy rags in the eyes of the Lord". They are commanded to bow before their God and to fear his wrath. It is sad that God has been put in such a blasphemously small box by some religions.

C'mon now, we don't want the Christians' ego to start falling apart. they'll screw up on the job and burn pizzas and all that kind of thing. Wait until some Goddess gets mad at them again.........Like the 500 point stock drop. Are take a look at Vegas. They pray to the Goddess of gambling luck all the time--heck they even pray to her when they've got church raffles.
If she ever decides that she is going to be as equal with them as they are with her when their talking about God, the Christians bottoms or going to fall out.

What's wrong with making humans equal to the gods? Well, how about an example for you. His name was Lucifer, he was an angel, and he wanted to equate himself with the most high god. You do know what became of him, I think? He was cast out of heaven, is now called satan, and his end will be the lake of fire.
Bad idea.

"Fighting" for equality is like "F---ing" for virginity
Gods are able to perceive good, without using evil as a reference point so as long as the thoughts and actions of humankind are dictated by the Ego and the bicameral mind, equality amongst Gods, I feel, is not a possibility.
Perhaps they perceive self worth in its lowest terms ie- as a product of the Ego, that which separates us from the Kingdom.

Well I do not lower my self worth before the the Gods, I view them as Elder Kin, as my friends. I would not bow down and grovel like a kicked cocker spaniel to someone who I call friend. I would treat them with respect and consideration.

the only thing wrong in "fighting" for equality of gods is that none of scripture says to fight to those who dont believe.
every scripture say to preach the knowldege of respective scripture but ppl are so idiot they cannot understand such simple damn thing. they just want to "convert" misunderstanding the actual meaning of it.
so there is no need to fight frst of all, and as far as if some human believes some1 is higher or lower, u dont need to consider "some".ppl. u rather focus on the teachings and things u r expected to follow frm scripture. fighting them is waste of time.

In the Bible there is a statement somewhere (excuse my lack of memory)....but something about "the master is not greater than the slave".
My point being....if there is one and only one Higher Power or God, there is also nothing greater than or less than.....because we are all equal.
Excellent Question!!

which gods I only know the ONE. I didnt lower my self worth, I lowered my head out of respect for something greater than I. i am not equal to the ONE nor should I be. I didnt create myself or all I see before me.. I will humble myself in HIS presence. these are my beliefs, and if it conflicts with yours then I am truly sorry but not because of what I believe

God Almighty is THE CREATOR, and we are His humble creation.
Creation can not be equal to Creator, very simple.
There is only One God, One Creator, One Provider, One Sustainer, without any pertner.
God takes his own decissions without partnership.
If there are more then one God, do you thing more then one personalities can run these universes without deferences?
Only one God Almight has authority to run this show.
