A better choice might be a 12 gauge 3-1/2" super magnum. There are quite a few shotguns chambered in 3-1/2" now.
Benelli, Beretta, Browning, Franchi, Mossberg, Remington, and Rossi all make 3-1/2" guns and you can choose from single shot, pump, and semi auto.
For a good reliable inexpensive ($300-$500) double it's hard to beat the Stoeger Condor over/under or Uplander side by side. They have 3" chambers. I've had an Uplander for years and it's a great gun.

I have not seen any new manufactures that make a ten gauge double. There are some old ones out there but almost all are made with
damascus barrels. Damascus or twist-steel barrels are made by layering alternate strips of steel and iron then welding them together. The strips are then twisted until they resembled a screw, three of these wound strips are then welded together, wound around a steel mandrel, then welded and hammered into a barrel tube. Laminated steel barrels are a bit different. They start with a ball of steel and iron that is then hammered into long strips and twisted, then, like their Damascus cousin, wound around a mandrel, welded and hammered into a barrel tube. Inherently, these barrels are quite strong, and many best-quality Damascus barrels pass nitro proof. However, because of the iron content and welded manufacture, twist barrels have a propensity for rusting within the barrel material. Added to that is the fact that these guns were primarily used with non-corrosive priming, and are therefore potentially honeycombed with weak spots which could come apart when fired with todays loads.

Ithaca and Mossberg made a 10 guage auto loader shotgun. You should be able to find one on www.auctionarm.com or www.gunbroker.com.
Ruger makes both an over/under shotgun and a side by side double barrel that are nice looking, handle well, and are reasonably priced.

The same topic came up a couple of weeks back.
Zabala Hermanos is the only company that I know of that's making a 10ga sxs at the moment. Great weapons, too. I wouldn't own one, though. I like my shoulders in the sockets.
Frankly, I'm wondering why so many folks are wanting 10ga shotguns these days?
If all you want is a decent home security system that doesn't involve alarms, go for a Norinco 12ga coachgun. 100% reliability and a damned fine weapon for the money.

Kestrel, Zabala, Graylag, aya ,mosberg, these all manufacture 10 bore shotguns.
If your looking for a nice 12 then i would suggest a browning or berreta. All the links i could give you are british and dont think they would be of no use to you unless you plan to import.
If you requier them then just drop me an e mail
