Fighting for benefits via workers comp and standard life for 4 months is stressing me out so bad that I don't want to live anymore and I cut myself on a regular basis. My psychiatrist and counsellor want me to stop working on getting benefits causes its stressing me out. Who's gonna pay my bills? When am I gonna get treated like a person and get benefits so I can afford to get better? Finances have to come first or I'll have only 2 options, go back to work before I'm able to deal with it or be forced to do suicide.

Autobiography in Five Short Chapters

Chapter One:
I walked down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost. I am helpless. It isn’t my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

Chapter Two:
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don’t see it.
I fall in again.
I can’t believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn’t my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter Three:
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it there.
I still fall in. It’s still a habit but, my eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

Chapter Four:
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I walk around it

Chapter Five;
I walk down another street.

As much as I love talking about finances and investments, they absolutely do not under any circumstances come first. They are, at best, third behind YOUR HEALTH and your FAMILY/FRIENDS.

And this is coming from a Financial Advisor.
Listen to your psychiatrist and counselor. They are there to help you. If you still feel finances have to come first keep the discussion going with them so they can at least understand your views.

Make it a good week/end!
