I am a teacher. I see it firsthand. Americans have become a society of 'wants' and 'deserves'. If you look at other societies...such as the Chinese...they are focused on technology and innovation...they have an education focused culture...while the Americans are focused on getting those innovations instead of the knowledge behind them. The typical oke of 'it takes a rocket scientist to program a vcr' is a perfect example. Our children feel they are entitled to things.....but, they aren't....they need to earn things..as we all did.

Look in the mirror at what? I have dedicated my life to teaching our children. I spend more time than you can imagine working on 'schoolwork' to help better my students. Since you don't know anything about me....who I am....how I work....etc, PLEASE EXPLAIN. As far as I can tell thus far...you are just another example of what contributes to this problem!
