can anyone tell me if a universal remote will work on toshiba dvd player?

if so where can i get one?

It should, Toshiba is a mainline brand. Go to any retailer that sells tv's and dvd players. The packaging on the universal remote will say what brands it supports.

If it doesn't, either don't buy the remote or take it back. Every universal remote should have a code that allows it to work with a Toshiba dvd player.
