On weekdays I have morning classes, but it's usually the same routine everytime - I get there, I feel tired, I can barely pay attention. Now, I know that there may be other factors in play here, but let's just focus on the food or drinks.

What kind of foods and/or drinks can I ingest that will wake me up or give me a boost for at least 2 hours? Caffeine drinks, etc., list them down, I'll take any suggestions. Although, make sure it's something I can buy in packs or I can make at least 5 times a day with ease.. and probably cheap. I can't afford to buy something for 5$ everyday.

Cheap and super healthy option:

Oats (instant or irish style) - this slow buringing carb will give you some extra boost with duration.

Green tea - kickstart your metabolism and the caffine will perk you up.

Juice (personal taste) - instant carb (sugar) boost and a healthy choice.

Personally, I do oats with honey, a protein shake and green tea. Gives the that boost before 9am class starts.

This may be kind of lame, but an apple usually does the trick for me... Plus, they're cheap and healthier than those high caffeine/ high sugar options.
