Obviously there isn't a tremendous amount of chemistry there between you or he'd definitely have warmed to you by now. Explore other options, surely there must be some other guy who's noticed you perhaps?

if you ask me... since u two are casually friends rite now... get into a conversation with him about the dance... see what he thinks about the whole theme park idea and how he feels about rollercoasters... also let him kno that u don't really care for those rides too much.. watch his reaction. his reaction to u planning on not going may b the key to ur ultimate question. its okay to harmlessly flirt with him a lil.
i guess i would also weigh out the pro's and con's about the situation... u don't really want to go and if he likes u if u go with him to the theme park thing, he's gonna c how ur not having fun and then that mite give him the impression that u do not like him... but if u ask him to go and he doesn't like u... unless he's a true gentleman, he's just gonna leave u behind while he rides the rides.. and ur gonna feel kinda stupid... but if u ask him to go with u somewhere else instead, and he decides to go with u he most likely returns ur feelings, but if he turns u down, it doesn't necessarily mean he's not into u, he may not b the sacrificing type or he doesn't like u as much as u would like him to... besides...if that's the case, would u really want to b in a relationship with someone who won't meet u halfway??

dont know what a dadie hawkins is but its sound like prom, umm lets see if you go to the theme park and he asks you to go on a rollercoaster with him do it, it'll create a strong bond between you two, even if your scared, 2. ( a very big 2 ) if a guy your age which seems pre-18 likes you beyond a friend he will make it known trust me ( sexual advances and what not ) but you havta be carefull, make sure if he does want to be more than just friends that he doesnt use you for his sexual pleasures.

First congratulations on asking the guy out. I can not imagine why so many girls and women put their future into the hands of guys by waiting to be asked out!
Second - you don't have to love roller coasters to go to a theme park. It sounds like it will be fun just being with a bunch of friends your age even if it seems a little dorky.
Last - this sounds like a good person to ask out as you can have fun whether he develops a crush for you or not. I vote ask him out!

If you have already asked him to another dance, went, and nothing came of it? I would say no, not if your intent is to start something serious with him.
Now, if you just want to have a good time and become closer friends, sure. Just don't get your hopes up too much. And, I would use the Sadie as an excuse then do something else like you suggested.
Best of Luck!

you should do what you want to do,
but think like him, see what he sees,
do you think he knows about the birds and the bees?
do you want to know how real men climb on trees?
yes, the last two lines were irrelevent, but grand!
now, back to the subject at hand -
if he is a crush, then what is the rush?
do you even know if he is into you much?
a man is a man is a man is a man, and most men. . .
like it when a woman takes the initiative.
its true, go for it. you have absolutely nothing to lose.
rejection is only temporary, and then you find the one.

You could always take him by force....just kidding. If you're in high school (or lower) you're probably into what 'everybody' is saying thing and peer pressure and all that. Just go with how you feel. If you start giving into what other might say, you'll only cheat yourself possibly getting what you want. Its your life. If he likes you, he'll do whatever is needed to be with you. Trust me.

guys don't go with girls to a dance if they don't like them a good bit..lol...he went to the other dance..so he will go to this one...just ask him again..or ask another guy..or don't go...you don't have to go if you don't like the rollercoasters...guys can't turn down girls..cause girls never ask that much...if you are a cutie then any other single guy will say yes..don't worry...u just have to be confindent and ask a few guys and you will find someone to go with...some might say no..but its ok...atleast one will say yes..

He agreed for a dance, so he must have some interest on you. You can try inviting him again, and if you have the opportunity...
Invite him to a place where you can show him your best.
