Since your little boy has a feeding tube, I think this is a question you should ask your Pediatrician.

I'm not knowledgeable about feeding tubes or reflux, and I'm sure you are seeing doctors about it.. but seeing as by the time I started writing this you still had no answers i thought I'd fling around the name Pediasure for the third time in ten minutes, lol.
Pediasure is a powdered drink mix for children who aren't getting enough food in their diet, and helps them gain weight. I do know that if he has a feeding tube, he might be able to use it through that, as on the tin it mentions something about tube feeding... but like I said, I don't know much about that at all. Perhaps mention it to your child's doctor and see what he/she thinks.

pediasure, you may want to ask the pediatrician if you could add a little whole cream, watered down of course with whole fat milk/ and or water, homemade custard and a good nutritional diet of course. when pureeing his meals add 1 tbs butter 1(fat), this is essential, green leafy veggies and the same. Always add a little fat to each food group so that not only is he getting a well rounded nutritional meal, but by adding the extra fat here and there will increase his caloric intake and help him gain a little safely. Always remember to talk to his doctor first and remember not to skip meals and snacks. he still needs those snacks in between okay.

My 19 month old has reflux, she doesn't have a feeding tube though, her doctor told me to start giving her PediaSure, she drinks two cans a day. It's really expensive though, but if you qualify for WIC they will pay for it.
