Nothing. We will find that regardless of the political hype and some outright lies the cause of global warming is within the normal range of conditions our planet experiences on a cyclical basis. We cannot make laws and rules to slow or prevent something we have no control over.

What we should be doing is some real research that tells us if global warming is actually taking place and the potential magnitude of the effects of global warming (if it really is occurring). Then, we need to formulate some predictive guidelines so we know how to act in response such as: 1) how much normal high tide levels may rise, 2) how much loss of ice unweights the underlying crust and if such will cause more earthquakes, 3) will floods and droughts increase, and 4) how can we help localized populations adapt.

There is no evidence of global warming that has any basis in truth in the science (our) world. There has been no rise in temperature in the past 7 years globally. Check out this great article on "Why am I skeptical about man-made global warming"

Climate change is natural, the climate never stays the same for long. That's what the science tells us. Whether humans are really affecting the climate and to what degree is hotly disputed by scientists.
