We can not limit God or put God in a test tube. God is omnipresent and is not limited by time or space.
We need also to remember that Jesus willing set aside His deity to take human form. (Philippians 2:5-8) Many of the things Jesus did was as a human being thus He prayed to the Father, and just a human He had the same temptations as you and I...yet without sin.
We also need to remember the wages of sin...death or separation from God. Man was created to exist forever and we will in one place or the other. Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2) but Jesus came to pay the price for us so that we can be given eternal life. To pay this price, God had to forsake Jesus...something HE has promised never to do to those who have trusted Jesus. Read the link below to get this promise

Christians do not believe in only one God. Our contention according to the bible is here to let you understand. we mean in one God, there are 3 spiritual God, God, the Father; Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior and the Holy Spirit of God. God the father is the mightiest, even greater than Jesus and the Holy spirit of God is here watching us. Jesus know that he will be nailed on the cross, however, he uttered the word Oh my God why have you forsaken me? in order show to the Jews who nailed him ab out the feelings of someone who is dying for the sake of us, sinners on earth. This was written on the prophecy.

thats a good trinity question. I like the following: Jesus is 1/2 human and 1/2 God so he can ask God as his daddy why have you forsaken me. I think it was the duress of being crucified. I think if I was getting crucified I would likely say all sorts of things come on give the guy a break. Then Jesus sheds the human 1/2 since the carcass died and all thats left is the God 1/2 and voila trinity preserved.

First of all God the father, Jesus , and the Holy spirit are the same, so really, he is saying that... also, DO NOT BLAME JESUS... he died for us, for you! Do not forget that he was all man and all Human, so he felt plenty of pain up there on the cross... please talk to a priest who would know more than me or anyone else on this site... also, the islamic guy below me is just using your dobt to controll you... Nothing against Islam, but listen to both sides, listen to both the Islam and the Christian view... then decide.

I am very clear about God Almighty.
God Almighty is the God, Unique in nature. Can not be compare with Human.
God do not need to become less then God Almighty.
God do not need to change His Nature to find problems of His Creations.
If we make a VCR. do we need to become VCR, to find problem in VCR? off course not ., same way God Almighty created Human and every living, non living things in/on universes, He is aware of every thing.
It is us who need knowledge, information, awareness, and we are dependent to some one to get it.
God Almighty does not need any help from his creation.
Prophet Jesus(pbuh) was a mighty Prophet of God Almighty.
God created Him as he created every one.
But His birth was a miraculous birth almost same as God has created Adam from no man and no woman, God Created Jesus(pbuh), without intervention of male, Because it is very easy for God Almighty. God can create from no man, and no woman as well.

Wow, Jesus was quoting Psalms on the cross? Yeah, 'cause you know, when you're nailed to a cross, bleeding and screaming and writhing in agony, you have the presence of mind to remember to quote scriptures. Sure, I believe that. Who wouldn't? After all, it comes from the same book that gave us a talking snake in a magical garden, a talking donkey, the moon and sun standing still, and other perfectly believable stories. And God sent himself to die as a sacrifice to himself so he could save humanity from his own wrath, which was brought on because of a colossal mistake he made 6000 years ago.

You misinterpret the condition he was in. At that point in time, Jesus was pretty busy with taking on the sins of all humanity, and the punishment of those sins... therefore, he was not speaking as God, but as a human being - or rather, all human beings, past, present, and future.

These were not words that Jesus made up while hanging on the cross. He was quoting a Psalm from Scripture.
