I heard this on Hank Hannagraaf's radio show today. It is amazing. The more we learn about science the more science shows there is a designer. Uneducated, so i guess newton, kepplar, and einstein were just not enlightened

I would like to see the published study. It says they surveyed 1646 faculty members, but it does not say 1646 scientists. What's more, universities professors do not represent the views of all the scientists in the world. This is typical sort of word-play a writer will use to imply a study proves something that it doesn't.
Even if 100% of these university professors believed in god, that doesn't mean those statistics speak for scientists the world over. There could be a hundred atheist scientists working in the real world for every theistic one teaching. Wouldn't that skew the data?
This study my prove nothing more than university professors are sheltered and stupid. (imagine that!)

Uneducated? Hell, most of them are smarter then me and get more dates. Hey, they can point out all the proof in the world, they go out and collect facts. Me? I go "Um... yeah, I'm just to lazy to care if there is a God or not." No proof from me.

I think when they say this, they don't mean that they are uneducated like school-wise. They think that people who believe are uneducated about the "real world" since their beliefs can't be proven or whatever. They probably also just mean that believers are somewhat ignorant.

I believe in God in the 'Einsteinian' sense. I do not believe in God in the religious sense as people worship.
I do not think the Bible is figurative or even literal.

god is a very liberal term, or it should be anyway. They believe something called God exists, christians believe that something wrote a book about himself and if people don't follow they'll burn for eternity. there's a difference.
