Would people who belive in god let there kids sit on a catholic priests knee?

Priests dress up as Santa, get hired at the mall, and then kids sit on their lap all day.

Julia, your question surprises me. Since I started on Answers spring of last year, I have generally found your posts to be faithful to the church.
Anyway, the answer to your question is YES. The Catholic Church teaches the priest is here for us "in persona Christi," providing for us a person we can relate to, acting as a representative of Christ.
...and Christ said,":Let the children come unto me, and do not hinder them. Whoever accepts one of these little ones accpets me."
I am blessed to have amazing priests in my life, and my children greet them all with hugs. My youngest still saves her best hugs for the priest who baptized her...she hugs him, looks in his eye and thanks him for it whenver we see him.

...first... the Word is "God"... capitol "G"... and why not...?
I know what you're thinking... so "all" Priests are....? that's like saying.... Italians are...? the Irish are....? Jews are...? Blacks are...? Whites are...? (pick your prejudice)... let God sort'um out.... Trust in the love in your heart (oh, it's there) to be a good steward of your charactor).... not everyone is "?"

Maybe....that's an if'y question....I don't think I would let my daughter sit on anyone's knee unless it was mine....or family.....

I love G-d and my kids...therefore they will have nothing to do with Catholocism or its priests.
