My ex bf's birthday is coming up soon and I was wondering if I should say happy b-day to him on msn or even text his phone? We dated for a short while, then HE ended it. It was a very innocent relationship, cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. It has been over for ONE YEAR. Yet 2 months ago he called & wanted me to go to a movie w/ him. I went & after he told me he wants to see me "every once in awhile". He is on my msn list, so I feel like it would be rude if I don't acknowledge his b-day? Should I say anything or just ignore it? I don't want him to think I'm chasing him, cuz it would be just a friendly thing. What should I do?

Say something but be discrete. This guy sounds like a real jerk. Just be friendly but not too friendly to let him think you want him back.

Move on and find another guy who will treat you like a Princess and respect your wishes.

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/JAss7

Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

If you only dated a short while, he is NOT your boyfriend. And, calling to wish him a Happy Birthday is not healthy. You really need to leave this dude alone. From what you've said, he really isnt that into you. I am not saying this to be mean, but to make you realize, you need to stop wasting time on him. I can tell you know, he is NOT going to call on your birthday, nor is he thinking about how to talk to you.

Honestly, it looks like you are trying to get his attention, which looks kinda desperate. Leave him alone, he's not worth it. And, for the record, I hope that you realize that your time is too valuable to be wasting time with someone who wants to kick it "every now and then". He obviously isn't worth your time. You should only spend time with those who make an effort to see you regularly.

Just say. ''Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday.''

Keep it short and simple. If you do.. you're not leading him on and anything just simply wishing him a good birthday. After you do just make sure it no more than a friends level conversation.

Just say a simple happy birthday.
So you want to stay on friendly terms with him. He looks like he wants to get back together with you. But you have to explain to him that you are drawing the line when it comes to a sexual relationship. Tell him that if he doesn't respect your decision to save your virginity for marriage and keep sex exclusive for your spouse, then he should be seeing less of you.

I wouldn't text message if you haven't talked in awhile, but sending a quick message on MSN (or even a quick email that says "Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday!") can't hurt.

Many girls break up with their significant others, is because they need time to figure things out. Don't take it personally, if you want her back, you have to show her you can help her. If you love her then you'll let her go, that's it. Not everybody who you date in high school you end up staying with, the chances are extremely unlikely. So if she doesn't want to, then you need to let her go.

Just msg him. It's always nice to recieve unexpected 'happy birthday' msgs from people you think would forget. Besides, there's no deeper meaning in 'happy birthday'.
