Yes, Pediasure will help him gain weight. My daughter has been drinking it for 4 months now, she went from 19 lbs at 15 months to 25.5 lbs about 2 months later. She loves to drink it.

Pediasure is excellent. If need be it can be used as a complete dietary supplement if a child won't eat, so it would help boost your childs all around vitamin intake - and yes, his weight.
1000mL a day meets the entire daily vitamin needs of a child aged 1-7, so if you made up one quantity of 250mL per day, that would be plenty.
Just be warned, it is virtually a meal supplement, so if you do choose to give it to him, make sure it isn't anywhere near meal time or it will ruin his appetite :)
Im not sure what 23lbs is, i work in kilos, lol. If he's perfectly average weight, I wouldn't bother about it too much though; it's more aimed at children who don't eat as much as they should. If in doubt ask your son's doctor whether he needs to gain any extra weight.

wow my 1 year old weighs 23 lbs but he is bigger (taller) than other babys anyways i think its good to give them pediasure so they can get the vitamins they need but as far as weight gain i dont know if that will help, unless you dont feed your son (wich im sure you do) he is prolly like my son he NEVER sits down always running and playing so its very hard for them to gain weight. most guys period rather there a baby or not stay skinny he might just have a high motabolism so as long as your feeding him and doing the mommy thing then you shouldnt worry and ask your childs doctor they might be able to give you some better advice but most likly they will tell you he is just fine

If you prefer an organic product, try Baby's Only Organic Toddler. Pediasure is good too but not organic.
