I love languages. I love to learn new languages, so much so, that I want it to be my career. my problem is, I son't know where to start. SHould I be a translator/interpreter? Who could I work for? I DO NOT want to be a teacher. But I do want a job where knowing a second language is essential. I have no idea who I can work for, FBI, peace corps., any one else? I speak french sifficantly, I am learnong ASL, Italian and japanese. what else ahould I learn> I'm so confused? And while your at it, know any college I shouold go to??? That's been giving me a headache as well...Thank you!!! :)

Try the School for International Training in Brattleboro Vermont. To be a court translator you must be an expert in at least 2 languages and pass a test to prove it.

Come to Asian countries to teach English and learn the local languages

You can try to get a certificate to be a translator for courts and other governmental establishments.
(They make a lot of money)
