We have a date on Friday night and I was wondering if I should:

-Send her a text message the night before saying something like "Have a good night and I can't wait until tomorrow night"

Note: We don't really communicate over the cell phone. Usually it's done in person during class ... so will this be sweet or weird.

Thanks,
Mark

no. sounds too desperate. just have a good night would be sufficient.

I think the text message would be a nice touch. If she agreed to go on the date and does like you, she will get even more excited about the date with a reminder message from you.

I say go for it.

If she wants to get out of the date, then you are giving her a perfect opportunity to tell you that something else just came up. It's better to find out before you go and pick her up.

Planning a text message 24 hours in advance. you must really like this girl? Hopefully she isn;t a member of yahoo answers, or else you already sent the message.

Good luck Mark.

Sound like you really do like this young lady.. :) i love to get texts from people/my boyfriend. It is a sweet and kind thing to do, and is letting her know how much you cannot wait for tomorrow. It shows that your keen to see her but not over keen :) xXx

It's so sweet that you are thinking of her, go for it, but how adding on something like "Can't wait to see your perfect face" or "Aching to kiss your sweet lips"? I know I would love to hear that! Good luck in love!

Don't send that!

You'd seem too much too soon. Plus, it's too sweet, like the candy that hurts your teeth.

Unless she's a nerd and would melt for that kind of stuff.

So, don't.

Try sending something a little more romantic, man.

Girls go for cheesy txt messages, because then they can show them to their friends.

Try

"Had a great time, can't wait for tomorrow night."

"Thinking of you, can't wait for another date."

"Dreaming of you. Go out again tonight?"

If your relationship has a joking manner, try send her cheesy pickup lines. Works for me all the time.

merely randomly deliver her something that announces "i'm wondering about you" actual, the sweetest ingredient i might want to ever get from a guy. i love you is so cliched now, understanding that they are fairly contemplating you is so a lot extra significant.

Mark, I think your romantic - to end the evening this way - it's too late to probably call her - you might want to add a note that she can call you if it wasn't to late for her and include your number. Let us know how your date went. Good Luck
