In last night's online tourney, I had nothing but crap hands for two hours and finally got blinded out.

In Tonight's tourney, I had nothing but good hands (two pairs, pocket aces, 3 of kind, full houses, straights, flushes) and lost every one of seven hands to a better one. So I kept betting big, and was out in seven hands. And every hand I lost on the river.

I'm not playing any more poker after tomorrow's tourney.

Bad beats, outdraws, and just not catching cards is just a part of the game. Poker is a mental game so you have let it get to you way to much, you have to take the good with the bad and you have to look at the long run and not just short term results. You have to realize that cards do not matter in poker to a certain degree, you have to play the player and the table, good hands only come around so often so you may be playing to tight.

We have good days and bad days at cards....you just have to grind it out and wait....especially if it's a money tournament. When I'm playing "stale" I just play the blinds and hope like hell I get good cards and only bet big when I know I have it. I know it's not always good to play safe, but I like to know I'm in the drivers seat when I part with my money...Oh, and I also believe, lucky in luck, unlucky in love.....so maybe someone is loving you tonight....which ain't so bad...
