hey i was in the same boat as you not too long ago... and i started messaging a guy i liked (through myspace-i usually started the conversations) and after a while, he somehow got my number and started calling me. Now we talk a lot and i'm still seeing where this is going... but it worked! Depending on the guy, they won't mind too much about you being the first ones to start things... just don't get over the top and continually message/call him if he doesn't seem that interested... there's no worth in wasting your time on a guy that doesn't care
