If you aren't using an entire muffin pan, should you put something in the ones that you arent using?

Use water for the tins that you are not going to fill with batter.
CAUTION: Proceed with care when you remove the muffin tin out of the oven--water is SCALDING HOT!!!!!!!!


SAFER OPTION:
You can also use dried beans, but do not try to reuse them for eating--NASTY!!!

fill 1/2 full with cold water to prevent burning unused tins.

i cooked muffins last nite, i sprayed all the holes with pam & later reailzed i didnt have enough mix for all of them, bu the grease kept the unused spots in new condition & cleanup was easy
