If you really must have your dog dyed a funky color, you'll want to call local dog groomers in your area and ask whether they offer this service, how much it costs, and what color choices they offer.
Personally, I would just like to say that a dog is neither a fashion accessory nor a toy, and that you should not subject them to such nonsense as dying them funky colors.

in the experience that your gonna dye the dogs on no account ever use people dye! It has chemical compounds which will injury your dogs!! Your dogs could desire to certainly finally end up with burns on its pores and skin alongside with hair loss. attempt manic panic or any non poisonous vegetable dye instead.

Wow, you guys are harsh.
There is a whole subset of grooming called creative grooming and there are competitions. Usually they use standard poodles because their fur is easy to sculpt.
So many crazy pictures! It's creativity! It's not hurting the dog.
(How many people are going to be upset at a dog dyed pink and then they still eat meat every day? I mean, if you want to talk about animal cruelty..............)
I don't think think creative grooming is bad. I think it's fun.
Below link has a gallery of pictures.

If you want to die your dog go ahead you wouldn't be the first or the last. They even do it in dog shows. Heck this method is in no way harmful. It is the same as washing a dog. People put clothes, and bowties on them all of the time. Good Luck.

*scratching my head, thinking* i'm trying to grasp the concept as to why a person would do that to their dogs.?
but if that is something that trips your trigger, the safest thing to use on animals in regards to colouring, and despite what anyone says it doesn't hurt the dog, is regular everyday food colouring. there is no reaction on the skin, and it will eventually either wash out, or fall out as the dog sheds.
the only thing i cannot tell you is the range of colours. that is something that you will have to experiment with. just us a small paint brush and test the colour shades on regular white paper. using the 4 standard colours.

A dog is a living being, not a fashion accessory. And based on your question, that is the only reason you want a dog.
Buy a rock and paint that instead.

LQQKIN at your avatar makes me think you are of the African American race. Imagine what yr scalp feels like if you accidentally scratch it and then received hair color or perm. Dogs or puppies scratch all the time.Hence that would be torture
on TV they might have used just jello coloring

Don't dye your dog. And no vet (that didn't get his/her license form a box of Crackerjacks) would dye a dog for you.
