Sometimes after a cat has been spayed, she will suffer from depression or trauma from the surgery. If the vet did not administer enough morphine after the procedure, she could have been in pain, which has made her out of sorts. But don't blame yourself! Getting your cat spayed has probably added years to her life, not to mention ridding her of going into heat, which can be just nasty.
Because your girl is eating a lot, make sure it's the right kind of food. Wet food is always better than dry, because cats can get addicted to crackers, like people do to fast food (you eat what tastes good). Ensure she drinks lots of water, as dehydration can make her lethargic. Next, spend LOTS of time with her. Give her lots of verbal praise, pet her, and give her fun toys to play with (my cats love socks filled with catnip and pillow stuffing). If she ever stops eating, drinking, or using her litter, it's time for the vet. Last resort? You may just need to get her a companion cat.

It really depends on how long ago she has had it done. I do know that now that my cat has been spade for many years she is still lazy. All she does is lay around and eat. But that is just cats. They will do something when they feel like it. Maybe you should try to play with her. Get her some cat nip and watch her go crazy. It is so cute when they do that. Another thing about cats is that they feel they are in charge. And that they don't need anyone's authority so she might just be wanting you to give her attention.

Depending on how recently, just give her some more time. The surgery is fairly major, although routine. It takes time to heal and adjust. If the problem persists, consult your vet.

Well you'd get depressed if you got your sh** snipped too. Thats one of the only things that cats are good at, eating, sleeping, purring, and having sex.
